A video of an Asian lady on Tik Tok being assaulted and gaslighted by two white males in Toronto is making its rounds on social media.
A Tik Tok consumer that goes by (@alicedoisme) uploaded a video accusing two white males of hitting her on the road and calling her Asian slurs. When the lads bought placed on digicam, they accused her of mendacity: whereas it seemed to be in a sarcastic tone. One of many males within the video tried to seize her cellphone.
Alice Do speaks extra in regards to the state of affairs in her remark part of the Tik Tok publish. She says, “The man on proper tried to chase me down to inform me he used to dwell in Japan for years and had a lot of Asian buddies so his saying was a joke-And that he had Asian buddies so these weren’t racism- once I tried to stroll away as a result of it was a pleasant day and I simply wished to take pleasure in my day. They dared me to publish to TikTok as a result of they mentioned they’d a lot of Asian buddies and that was how they joke with one another. Any of their buddies pls-educate them that yelling slurs and all to an Asian stranger that they unintentionally stumbled into them wasn’t a good suggestion.”
