Pupil Journalists Representing 47 HBCUs Invited to the White Home for Unique Press Briefing

On Thursday, Vice President Kamala Harris and Senior Advisor for Public Engagement Keisha Lance Bottoms are inviting HBCU Pupil Journalists representing 47 totally different Traditionally Black Schools and Universities (HBCUs) from throughout the nation to the White Home for a press briefing.

On the briefing, these college students will ask the each the Vice President Kamala Harris and Senior Advisor for Public Engagement Keisha Lance Bottoms, who occur to be HBCU graduates themselves, about points pertaining to their respective communities.

That is one in all many HBCU engagements hosted on the White Home in current days. On Friday, Assistant to the President for Nationwide Safety Affairs Jake Sullivan met with 18 HBCU leaders to debate urgent points similar to nationwide safety partnerships, profession recruitment, and campus safety. In the meantime, just some steps away, over 60 HBCU scholar veterans and Reserve Officers’ Coaching Corps (ROTC) college students from seven HBCUs gathered on the White Home for the first-ever Pupil Veterans and Cadets Discussion board.
